Never 51

Linda returned to Osmo a week later. She hadn’t been resting in Aventis but gathering material for her

work.

Amber’s new movie was almost ready. Since Linda had written the script herself, she was deeply

concerned about it.

William went back after the next day as the Wilson Group couldn’t function without him. Linda only found

out about this when Wendy casually mentioned it during a work report.

On the day Linda returned to Osmo, Chloe came to pick her up. Linda was surprised to see her.

“Aren’t you supposed to be having fun in Novena?” Linda asked while looking at Chloe.

Chloe grinned and replied, “I finished what I needed to do there, and I was getting lonely.”

Linda didn’t buy her excuse. “What’s going on? You need to tell me what happened to you.”

“My professor is in Osmo, and he said he wants to meet you,” Chloe said, her voice growing quieter.

“Why would he want to meet me?” Linda was puzzled. “Did you get into trouble while studying?”

Chloe rolled her eyes. “Sis, I’m in college, not primary school.”

Adults didn’t just casually travel to foreign cities, especially when the Felix family was no longer as

powerful as before.

Besides, Chloe wasn’t the type of person who liked to cause trouble. Their family had always been enjoying an apathetic life.

“My professor knows you’re Amber. He says he really loves your work.”

“Really?” Linda opened the driver’s side door and got in. “How does he know that?”

Chloe had to drive since she came by car. Then, she fastened her seatbelt, shrugged, and waved her hand. “I have no idea of this. It’s normal for university professors to have connections.”

It was true that the university professors probably had other roles. In the economics department, any random professor might own several companies.

“Don’t worry, Linda, Our professor is a real gentleman.”

Linda was speechless. It wasn’t what she was worried about.

Three days later, Linda attended a launch event on behalf of YK Media.

Over the past two years, YK Media gradually started investing in various film crews to discover new talent. It was Linda who had proposed these.

She believed many talented actors missed their prime because they didn’t meet the right people at the

best age.

Linda often sent Lina to scout for new actors. Lina and Linda attended today’s event.

“Ms. Felix, do you want me to stay with the film crew permanently?” Lina asked while fiddling with her phone.

Linda was busy with her emails and didn’t look up. “You are not happy with my arrangement?”

“Not exactly, but I might get mistaken as a factory worker being there all the time,” Lina replied.

Linda said, “I have a suggestion.”

Lina leaned in. “Please go ahead, Ms. Felix.”

“Always wear clothes with big luxury logos and carry a Birkin bag,” Linda replied.

Lina was speechless, and she rolled her eyes. “No one would mistake me for a factory worker then. They’d think I’m a rich lady.”

“Isn’t being a rich lady enjoyable enough?” Linda questioned.

“A rich lady who keeps toy boys. Are you interested?” Lina questioned back.

Linda blurted out, “Jokes aside, I’d actually love that.”

Lina was speechless. She didn’t understand what Linda thought..

“Oh, right,” Linda remembered something.

“Yes?”

“If someone interviews me later, don’t worry about it. Let them ask whatever they want,” Linda replied.

Lina was puzzled. “Are you sure?”

The reporters in Osmo, especially entertainment reporters, asked the most challenging questions. “Yes, I’m sure.”
