Chapter 8
NAOMI-
I told Circenn I would prove that my first and only pregnancy belonged to him and now seeing the astonished look on his face is making me feel like I made the best decision about myself.
If anything, Keeping to my promise is one thing I don’t defy for myself.
Seeing how everyone had reacted to his kids close to him, left this plaster of satisfaction circling my guts. I didn’t mean to show up like this and disrupt his party. But I had to.
He dares call me a liar.
My boys are growing and they need a father figure in their lives before it is too late. I know Circenn is a jerk who had tossed me like I my babies deserve both parents as long as they are alive.
I’ve come a long way.
was trash, but
Four years ago when it felt like I had lost all. It was like God was on my side when a long lost relative had shown up at the hospital I had gone to she isn’t entirely related to me but likes to consider herself family
She is my mother’s best–friend. She had learned about my family’s brutal accident and thought I had died with them. Only to find out I wasn’t and have been living a crappy life all by myself. And worst of it all, pregnant
Maggie took me in after listening to my tragic tale at giving life a try. She insisted that my life was now her priority because she was forever Indebted to my mother.
Something had happened a year between them before my mother died, though she wouldn’t tell me, she said she would only make me and my unborn kids my priority.
We utilized the funds Circenn provided and Maggie’s wealth to establish new lives for ourselves
I devoted my time to raising our twin sons, while also immersing myself in the inner workings of Maggie’s company.
As a result, I became a significant shareholder and eventually
to drive the company’s growth and success.
y rose to the position of manager, leveraging my education in business administration
In doing so, I discovered a new sense of purpose and fulfillment, finally moving on from my challenging past
My boys were like a new ray of sunshine in my life and I did not fail to mention that they indeed have a father. I included everything they needed to know.
I promised myself they would not lack. And since their father Circenn McCain was a public figure
They often saw him on TV and magazines, which I made intentional. They are pretty smart and quick witted to always recognise their father.
And now back to the city, seeing their father in his broad and enormous form, the man who had seduced me with such a thirsty gaze- I could instantly tell how thrilled they felt.
“Come now boys” I grab my car keys as I get ready to step out of my apartment.
Blake and Jake spring out of their rooms looking exquisite in the blue matching outfits I had squeezed their little bodies in.
Today’s the day the truth finally hits Circenn and those around him like a ton of bricks.
Last night, Circenin had taken the necessary step of conducting a DNA test on the twins, despite the obvious truth staring him right in the face.
I can’t fault him for that, if I were in his shoes. I’d likely do the same.
As I buckle up the wristwatch around my wrist
Icatch a glimpse of chocolate smeared on Jake’s face and gasp.
“How did that get here?” I rush to get a tissue paper,
Chapter 8
“Are we going to see daddy?” Jake asks, as I carefully wipe it off.
“Yes” I beam at him. “So we have to be in our best shapes”
Jake’s eyes lit up and he nods gently.
Every time I stare at him both of them to be precise.
I see nobody but Circenn, I sometimes question where the hell my gene went.
They’re identical but maybe with Blake you can see a bit of me, but with jake. It’s all Circent, and despite looking so much like his grumpy and cruel father, He is often quiet, reserved and hardly gets mad even when Blake gets on his bad side.
Blake is everything like his father. Not like I have known Circenn all his life. But I could just tell
“Mommy, are you going to get married to daddy!” Blake asks out of nowhere and I freeze.
“What?” I laugh.
He starts to grin.
“Sally” I poke his little nose, ending our little conversation as I walk away to grab my purse.
“Mommy please get married to daddy” Blake begins as we walk out the door and into the elevator.
Goodness.
I sigh.
“Blake.” I call with a warning tone, squeezing his hand buried in mine.
He looks up at me.
“Please Mommy“
I sigh
I signed up for this when I decided
I decided to give birth to them.
“Fine.” I nod
“Yay!” Blake jumps.
I get into the driver’s seat after safely tucking in my boys in their special seats and sealing their body with the seat belt.
I turn on the radio before hitting the road.
news
I usually don’t pay attention to the news each time I turn on my radio. But this time my ears are immediately caught off guard when the n comes on and starts to talk about something other than the minister’s upcoming birthday and his fake kindness towards the city.
This time it is about Circenn….
The broadcaster’s voice is clear and high pitched as she speaks..
extraordinary developments to share with you.

And here’s the astonishing part – the kids bear a striking resemblance to none other than Circenn McCain himself.

Chapter 8
No way these people are pulling O
Circenn and my boys into news con
I glance at my boys quickly to see them playing and distracted and immediately turn to the radio to turn it off.
It’s been ages since I left this city but the fact that circenn’s still being worshiped and tabbed.
I did cause quite the commotion last night. But I only expected it to shake him right off his feet and not make it to the most popular news line.
As I pull up to the secluded five–star hotel, a sense of uneasiness washes over me.
Circenn’s assistant, Ralph, had given me the address with an air of secrecy, and now I’m starting to wonder why.
Stepping out of my car, I’m immediately swarmed by a frenzy of paparazzi, their cameras flashing like a barrage of gunfire.
The air is electric with tension as they shout questions and snap photos, their relentless pursuit trapping me in a whirlwind of chaos.
Some even hovering g around my car to get proper captures of my boys
What in the world!
