Chapter 35
-NAOMI
I wake up feeling refreshed and relaxed, the soft sunlight peeking through
h the windows a gentle welcome to the day.
I stretch, yawn, and swing my legs over the side of the bed, feeling the softness of the carpet beneath my feet.
After a quick shower and dressing in comfy clothes, I head to the kitchen to start my day with a warm cup of coffee and some quiet time to myself. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee fills the air as I sit down at the table, savoring the moment of peace before the day begins.
I feel grateful for this lazy Saturday morning, a chance to recharge and enjoy some me time before the world outside starts moving again.
My morning is quickly interrupted when Circenn walks into the living area, talking to someone on the phone
He’s dressed in a perfect tuxedo, but now he’s taking them off.
He can’t see me, but I can.
The kitchen gives a perfect view to the living room area and it is the best when
I can’t hear what he’s saying but he looks flustered and serious.
you want to
to spy on someone
Unlike two days ago and now and how he’s been acting like a totally different person around me.
well he’s not that much of a big difference from the jerk Circean I know.
He’s still ignoring me but this time, when we make eye contact, he looks like he wants to bite my head off and chomp on my neck.
I don’t know if he still hates me and the idea of the black empire being at my feet, but his attitude towards me is a bit questionable
I am almost done with my coffee and my eyes are still enjoying the spy–able view I am getting from the kitchen.
Circenn is now shirtless and one of the maids has rushed to get him a brand new shirt and blazer.
He looks like he is in a hurry.
them his full
The twins suddenly rush up to him and he stops whatever he’s doing and gives them his full attention.
Even if he hates me to the moon and back. I love how Circenn loves the twins.
Here’s an expanded version of the text
I absolutely adore the way Circenn shows his devotion to our children, demonstrating that they are his top priority.
The way he comforted Blake during his nightmare, offering a reassuring presence and calming words, warmed my hear. Moments like these make co–parenting a true blessing.
I didn’t have to lose any sleep over our toddler’s distress, knowing Circenn was there to offer support.
I feel grateful to have him by my side, even if our relationship is complicated.
While he may be difficult as a friend or acquaintance, as a partner and father, he’s exceptional.
Witnessing his tender moments with our boys has softened my perspective, and I find myself appreciating his paternal side.
As I head to our room, I notice my phone buzzing on the bed, a reminder that life is full of surprises, and I wonder what news or message awaits
I grab it to see a new message from Charles Dickson.
“Cannot wait to see you tonight*
I freeze.
I forgot 1 had a date! Not a date actually, we’re just casually having diniser, as a means of me paying him back.
Crap!
How could I forget?

makes me breathe a sigh of relief.
She is busy wiping the console in the living room but she immediately comes at my calling
“Yes ma’am” Her voice is polite, as
as usual.
“Is there anyway you know any dress house that I can order a dress that will get here in like six hours? Please tell me you do
She looks lost
“Um, I don’t know. are you guing somewhere ma’am?” She looks confuscil.
*Somewhere important” I nod.
I’ll be hanging out with Charles Dickson, I can’t go there looking like a lost soul, an average woman who will get questions for eating with Charles Dickson
“Do you want your wardrobe finally brought in then?” Elena asks with a stretching smile.
Now I’m the confused one.
She shakes her head still smiling.
“When you arrived, you had a brand new wardrobe, complete with a selection of stylish dresses, neatly installed in your room. It was a thoughtful gesture, intended to make you feel welcome and comfortable in your new surroundings. However, when it was discovered that you had brought your own favorite old dresses with you, the new wardrobe was promptly removed, with the understanding that it would only be reinstated if you specifically requested it. So, the question remains, are you willing to ask for the new wardrobe to be returned, or do you prefer to stick with the comfort and familiarity of your own beloved dresses!”
“What?” I’m still a bit confused
Elena looks blank.
Would you like new dresses?”
“Sure” I streich my words.
“Good,” she nods.
During!
ing the afternoons immediately after having lunch.
Elena and Amber appear with a stunning dress rack, holding a vast array of exquisite dresses that would make anyone a fashion icon.

The rack is a treasure trove of fashion expertise, promising to transform anyone who explores it into a style sensation
The array of dresses is truly mouth–watering, leaving me eager to discover its secrets.

Chapter 35
My hair is swept up into a chic updo, and before I know it, I’m ready to go.
As the sun sets, I receive a message from Charles confirming he’ll be picking me up.
I send him the address and go on to bid farewell to my little ones with a flurry of kisses.
With a final wave, I’m out the door and ready for the night ahead.
I don’t know how tonight will go, but there’s an odd feeling at the settling of my gut.
