Chapter 92
Madeline felt chills traveling down her spine. “Okay”
Nolan smiled with satisfaction. “Maddie is the sweetest.”
Nolan added, “In a few days, you should be able to meet with Zwolf”
His tone was somewhat meaningful.
Madeline was stunned. She thought, “Zwolf, Yohannes Yandell.”
Madeline felt a little awkward. “What’s his current
at career?”
“You’ll know.” Nolan kept that a secret. “Well, it’s time to take a shower and go to bed. You need to go to school tomorrow, Maddie, so sleep early.”
Madeline nodded and looked at Nolan. “Nolan, how long will you stay in Acocester?”
Tll be staying in Acocester for the time being” Nolan didn’t say much.
He missed Madeline so much that he canceled many plans.
He planned to purchase a condominium near Acocester University so that he could also live there.
Madeline tugged at Nolan’s sleeve before going back to her room with a smile.
After taking a shower, Madeline lay on the queen bed and looked at the ceiling.
Yohannes came to preschool very late and became the last member of the Zodiac of Asuras, taking the last position as Zwolf.
He was gorgeous, wearing plain clothes and sitting alone under the banyan tree
At first, Madeline thought he was a girl.
She always looked at him secretly.
He spoke in a gentle voice. His porcelain–white skin was as tender as a doll’s.
He had a pretty face.
Madeline had never seen such a beautiful girl before.
Yohannes was one and a half years older than her.
Madeline slept with Yohannes every day, and the two had dinner together. They were almost inseparable.
However, one night, it was snowing heavily outside. Yohannes held her in his arms.
He said beside her ear, “Maddie, I like you. Can we be together forever?”
Madeline didn’t take it seriously because she also liked Hannes. Who wouldn’t like having such a beautiful sister?
She said, “I like you too, Yohannes. We’ll be together forever.”
Yohannes smiled beautifully and made a pinkie swear with Madeline under the quilt.
However, after that day, she saw the gender on the personnel list and found out the Hannes she was so fond of was actually a boy!
Since then, Madeline had avoided Yohannes.
Yohannes was hurt.
At that time, Madeline had already started to take on
on missions.
Therefore, she wasn’t clear how Yohannes became the last member of the Zodiac of Asuras.
However, Madeline was sure that Yohannes would never want to see her, figuring the latter must deeply resent her.

Madeline sighed. “I was too young and had such poor observation skills. Zwolf was just too handsome. It’s not my fault that my observation skills were poor. Still, I really wronged Yohannes at that time.”
Thinking of that, Madeline fell asleep.
In the second week of school, they also began to take an undergraduate course.
Madeline was very interested in what she was learning at the university. After all, it was a new field.
She had a lot of motivation to learn every day.
Harper sighed and thought, “She’s listening to this boring undergraduate course so attentively.”
The night before Wednesday, Madeline sat on the couch and waited for Gavin to cook.
Her phone rang
It was a call from Hannah.
“Maddie, I finally got in touch with you. I couldn’t reach you on this number recently. Are you interested in filming tomorrow? There won’t be many scenes, so you can finish the filming tomorrow. It’s the crew next to ‘Return of the Phoenix and Immortalism. They had person who was going to play a small part, but that person backed out at the last minute.” Hannah smiled and said, “To be honest, you are the best–looking background actor working for me.”
Madeline thought for a while. “Immortalism?”
She watched almost all TV series while working as a background actor.
Immortalism was a major motion picture that made a large number of actors famous.
“Sure,” she replied.
Hannah smiled and said, “Then, you should arrive at the set before eight o’clock in the morning tomorrow. There will be lines tomorrow, and you’ll be paid 200 dollars.”
Madeline didn’t care about money.
Gavin came out with the food, and his forehead was st
was sweaty.
Madeline put down her phone and said, “Gavvy, you look like you’re very hot.
Gavin paused and gestured at her with his brows. “Huh?”
Madeline smiled helplessly and wiped his sweat with a tissue.
Gavin’s facial features were very delicate. He had prominent eyebrows and a nicely–shaped nose under his charming eyes. His lips were thin but beautiful.
His lips were always a little pale..
Madeline patiently wiped the beads of sweat on his forehead.
Gavin took her hand and said, “Okay. I’ll serve the meal. I don’t mind this little heat since I have you to help me wipe my sweat” Gavin was wearing a cute rabbit apron, which Madeline chose.
She sat down and looked at the food on the table. It smells good. Gavvy, I suspect you went to the culinary school behind my back.
“You’re almost right” Gavin came over with the meal and said, “Of course, Ive polished my skills. Otherwise, why would I be so confident?”
Madeline raised her eyebrows and asked, “How long have you learned it?”
Two hours. I just learned it on the weekend.
Madeline couldn’t help pursing her lips. She thought, “He’s truly a genius, being able to learn anything so quickly. Does he not have any shortcomings?”
She couldn’t help clenching her lists. “Cavvy, can you share your IQ with me?”

“If I have learned it, you will have learned it too. It’s the same.” Gavin smiled.
Madeline frowned and said, “Okay. I’ll only be responsible for eating the food anyway.”
That’s not quite right. If you don’t eat, I won’t cook.” Gavin leaned against the chair lazily and suddenly looked serious. “I deliberately prepared the meal for you.” He smiled and said, “I want to help you gain some weight. You’re too skinny, so skinny that my heart aches whenever I see you.
His eyes shone with sincerity.
Madeline was a little embarrassed and said, “I’m fine. It’s just a little malnutrition.”
“Maddie, since you don’t have classes all day tomorrow, do you want to go out to have fun?”
Madeline was confused. “Don’t you have a class?”
Gavin smiled and said. “I can skip it.”
“No. I’m going to do a part–time job tomorrow.” Madeline shook her head. “We’ll do that next time.”
Gavin sighed and looked at Madeline, thinking, “My poor little sister. She has to work to make money at such a young age. She must be having it rough. He said, “Let me make you a supplementary credit card.”
“This is my career!”
Gavin said, “Okay. Of course, I have to support your career.
He put on disposable gloves and peeled off the crayfish for her. “Eat more. Do you want me to drive you tomorrow morning?”
“No. The transportation there is quite convenient. Madeline resembled a piglet, feasting on the peeled crayfish that was fed to her by Gavin. She muttered, “This crayfish tastes almost as good as that outside.”
After dinner, Madeline was ready to clean up the dishes.
Tll do it.” Gavin stopped her and squeezed her hand solemnly. He said with a slight sigh. “Girls‘ hands are not meant for washing dishes.” Madeline felt a lump in her throat. “Gavvy…”
When she was in the Larson residence, she did a lot of chores.
Looking at Gavin, who was busy inside through the glass sliding door, Madeline felt warm in her heart.
